Boring, simple, “blah” designs can be made exciting and distinctive with the right font choice. Lately, I’ve been trawling the web for free fonts to add to my library so I have a plethora to choose from when I’m looking for the right typeface.  I’ve decided to share 10 of my favourites that I’ve come across so far.

Shape the Hive is “an artist collaboration unlike any other”. It’s an incredibly visually interesting project that allows people to submit a “pod” to a colour-wheel kaleidoscope of static visuals or videos. If you choose to enter, you can potentially win a $10,000 tuition scholarship to the Art Institute of California – Orange County, a couple of other monetary prizes or a Macbook Pro.

My friend from uni, Stephanie Crowley, used me in her shoot for an assignment for her photography course. I had no idea what I was doing, but had heaps of fun!
